Please check again that you are downloading the correct firmware for you device.

This firmware is for X5 Headset Serial numbers that begin with H4

> Remove the battery from the X5 Headset.

> On the headset printed on a white background where the battery
   sits is a series of numbers after S/N.

> Take note of the first two digits.

> It will looks like this: S/N H4xxxxxx

> Once you have confirmed you have the correct Serial number     version please proceed with the downloads.

2. Download this zip file and unzip to your desktop or an easily accessible place on your PC.

3. Follow the below X5 Firmware Instructions (PDF) for completing the firmware upgrade.

New Features and Fixes

1. Using the Headset buttons, you can now reconnect to the last mobile phone or pda which was previously connected to the X5 Headset.

After turning the X5 ON by pressing the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds…

Short Click Volume Up and Volume Down together. The LED will flash quickly and the X5 will connect to the last device connected

2. Starting your phones MP3 player

For phones such as the Motorola V3x, after connecting the headset to the phone as above, Short Click the MFB button once.

The Music player will open and music will start to play.

This will work for most phones but some will still require you to open the Music Player and Press Play within the phone

3. To reject an incoming call

When the headset rings on an incoming call

Short Click the ON/OFF button. The incoming call will be rejected

4. Redial while streaming music

To redial the last number dialled from the connected mobile phone

Press and Hold the MFB button for 3 seconds

5. Boot tone for power on/off

6. Beep tone for max and min volume levels reached
